Our Story
Anchor Point Village was created out of a passion for car seat safety and a desire to support families practically. Through years of experience as a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, we saw how many caregivers needed help with proper installation, choosing the right seat, and understanding how to use it correctly.
We also recognized that many families need flexible support and help that fits into real life. Anchor Point Village exists to meet families where they are, providing trusted guidance and making sure every child has the opportunity to travel safely.
Meet Our Board
Taylor Figueroa C.P.S.T.
Presedent & Founder
Taylor is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician with over 7 years of experience serving families across the Space Coast. Her work focuses on closing critical service gaps by delivering expedited, accessible, and judgment-free safety resources, particularly in underserved communities. She manages daily operations, leads community outreach, and provides direct, rapid-response support to families in need. As a nursing student, she is continuing to build her clinical foundation to better support women and children in the community.
Brittany Joye
Vice President
Brittany oversees all visual design and brand development for Anchor Point Village, including the organization's website, printed materials, and outreach content. She also manages volunteer coordination and plays a key role in backend operations, helping ensure the organization runs smoothly behind the scenes. Currently completing her bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Brittany brings strong communication skills, helping translate complex information into clear, accessible resources and maintaining effective coordination across the team, along with a calm, thoughtful perspective shaped by her background in education.

Treasurer
Joy is a Certified Public Accountant and a dedicated member of the Anchor Point team. As a mother, she cares deeply about supporting families in her community and brings that perspective into her role overseeing the organization’s financial management and accountability. She is proud to support Anchor Point’s mission of strengthening family stability by providing rapid-response safety support, essential resources, and child-focused dignity items to families in need.
Auburn Van Meir Castillo
Secretary
Auburn serves as Secretary and plays an integral role in Anchor Point Village's day-to-day operations. She supports outreach efforts, manages social media, and assists with program execution, helping ensure that services and resources reach families effectively. Working closely with leadership, Auburn helpes carry out key initiatives and maintains consistency across the organizations operations. In addition to her current responsibilities, Auburn is in the process of becoming a Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), further strengthening her ability to support families directly and expand the organization's impact within the community.
